 File Specifications:  

File preparation for Wide Format Digital Print:

1. Illustrator (ai. or eps.) files preferred, however, we also accept Quark, tiffs., hi-res jpegs., Photoshop (psd.), or pdf.
2. CMYK color files (exception to LIGHTJET prints which require RGB color files)
3. PMS colors to be embedded in file and specified on hard copy color proofs.
4. All black colors to be given in CMYK values
5. If applicable to the file format, text layers must be converted to outlines
6. 100 dpi file resolution @ full size (or final size).

File preparation for Super-Wide Format Digital Print:

1. Illustrator (ai. or eps.) files preferred, however, we also accept Quark, tiffs., hi-res jpegs., Photoshop (psd.), or pdf.
2. CMYK color files (exception to LIGHTJET prints which require RGB color files)
3. PMS colors to be embedded in file and specified on hard copy color proofs.
4. All black colors to be given in CMYK values
5. If applicable to the file format, text layers must be converted to outlines
6. 25 or 50 dpi file resolution @ full size (or final size). For smaller sized files, 100 dpi file resolution @ full size. For Billboard , 18 / 23 DPI to size.

 We strongly suggest that clients do not give Corel Format Files as during conversion from Corel to our usable formats, fonts and layout placing almost always change.

Please keep in mind that it is ALWAYS recommended to provide a color proof (hard copy) for color matching purposes. Beyond Digital Imaging will not be held responsible for files that do not accompany a hard copy color proof.
