Wide-Format Digital Print File Specifications

File Types Accepted: (Minimum 100 DPI @ Actual/Final Size)

  • Illustrator (.ai or .eps)
  • Hi-Res Jpegs/Tiff/PSD Files 
  • PDF Files

Files

  • CMYK color files (exception to LIGHTJET prints which require RGB color files)
  • PMS colors to be embedded in file and specified on hard copy color proofs. 
  • All black colors to be given in CMYK values 
  • If applicable to the file format, text layers must be converted to outlines.
  • Any linked files must be included or embedded.
  • Leave any .PSD files unflattened.

Colour Matching

  • A Pantone colour must be supplied
  • Otherwise, a physical sample must be provided and we will do our best to match your requirements.

Please keep in mind that it is ALWAYS recommendeded to provide a color proof (hard copy) for color matching purposes. Beyond Digital Imaging will not be held responsible for files that do not accompany a hard copy color proof.
